The Book
As the Lord began to move upon my heart over twenty years ago, calling me both to follow Him in a journey of learning and then to "shout out" what He would unfold, I undertook a study and, subsequently, wrote the book entitled God's Sovereignty and Our Responsibility: His Heart for All Men. Although, to the honoring of our Father's name, the book begins as an apologetic outlaying, in particular, scriptural inconsistencies within the Calvinist teachings of unconditional election and limited atonement, the book is really more than that. Re-examining, for their intended meanings, scriptures often considered supportive to Calvinist TULIP teachings—and seeing, even at root, an overreach regarding God's sovereignty—the book is a foundational and faith-strengthening collection of teachings that set forth the balance of God's sovereignty and our responsibility, and what is the truth of His greatness and His love. Although the book has organization, each chapter stands complete on its own. Also, for study helps, the paperback contains a thorough Table of Contents and Scripture Index, while the Kindle version has, additionally, a helpful word search capability. Both book formats are available on Amazon. |
